Super soil delivery

This year we ordered 2 yards of “Super Soil” which is a mixture of compost and loam, from Wagon Wheel in Lexington. This is a lot of soil, so we split it up between our personal gardens and the community plot.

1 Yard = 10′ x 10′ Area 3″ Deep

Spring cleaning

It’s that time of year - spring cleaning! We visited the garden plot for the first time in a while and spent some time removing old plants and leaves from the beds. We put all of this into the large compost pile at the community garden.
